HTML tag defines the text that appears in the top line of a Web browser. Many search engines display the Title Tag, as the title, of the actual search listings Information. In other words, the information contained in a title tag shows at the top of the Web browser when viewing a Web page (as well as in the listing that appears along with a link to your web page).
Don't underestimate the power of good Title Tags. Some search engines prefer them a certain character count in length or number of words. They are "weighted" so choose your Title Tags carefully .. Title Tags can get "watered down" if you have over ten words or so or exceed "Google Best Practices" recommended character count.
